Business Tax Senior Associate | Braintree, MA

At this firm, you’ll join a long-standing 12-person CPA firm in Braintree, just by South Shore Plaza, that’s built an impressive corporate client base: dealerships, private equity firms, distributors, and closely held businesses ranging from $10M to $1B in revenue. You’ll work with smart, loyal clients who view you as a trusted partner, not just a tax preparer.
This isn’t a firm where you’ll be chained to your desk until 8pm. Busy season runs around 50–55 hours a week, never Sundays, never late nights. For 10 weeks in the summer, you’ll work 32-hour weeks with Fridays off. It’s the kind of balance most firms promise but few deliver.
You’ll also have your own office and the freedom to work from home once you’re settled. The team is professional, friendly, and experienced; many have been here for 20+ years, and there’s a genuine path to grow into leadership as the next generation of partners retires.
What you’ll do:
• Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns
• Collaborate on financial statement work: audits, reviews, and compilations
• Advise on planning and compliance for sophisticated, multi-entity clients
• Build relationships and become the go-to for your book of business
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, supportive culture
