So you work for a CPA firm. You like the variety of work and clients, but you can’t stand the relentless busy season hours, doing nothing but tax return after tax return after tax return?
What if I told you, you could still work for a CPA firm without the horrible hours?
This mid-sized CPA firm on the north shore is looking for someone to join their Outsourced Management Accounting team.
What would that mean for you?
You would be working with a variety of small clients, looking after their books, helping them to budget and forecast, identify and measure KPIs and provide strategic support to help their business develop and grow.
But what does this actually mean for you?
If you find the repetitive nature of a purely tax role isn’t for you, then this role is a little more varied and forward focused. You also WONT BE WORKING LONG BUSY SEASON HOURS. From February until April you may have to work a little more than the usual 40 hours, but it’s nowhere near the 55 hours you see in the tax teams.
You will also Fridays off all Summer.
So what’s the firm like?
If you decide that this role is for you, then you will be joining a progressive, family-feel, collaborative culture that truly prioritizes their employees wellbeing. They are very development focused, so you will be given all the technology, tools and support to succeed and develop, as well as a mentor and career coach to guide you through your journey.
You will have access to their generous benefits package including 25 days PTO, a yearly wellness allowance and the usual medical, dental, vision, life, disability and CPA reimbursements/ study support (if that’s where you’re at in your career). You can work on a hybrid or remote basis, whatever works best for you.
