Recently this Long Island-based CPA firm asked everyone to return to the office, five days a week. There’s flex to WFH when needed, but on the whole, people are in the office every day.
The Partners were a bit anxious about how this would go.
Their biggest worry? Losing valuable team members.
But the outcome was surprising—not a single person left.
When I asked the Partner why, she said, “It’s a great learning environment, especially for those in the early stages of their career.”
This is a small firm, with fewer than 20 people. As a Senior Accountant, you’ll have easy access to the Partners, whether you need guidance on a tricky 1120S or want to discuss your career path.
This role is perfect for someone with 3-5 years of experience at a CPA firm, regardless of size. If you’re unsure about which area to specialize in, this is the place for you. You’ll gain exposure to the full range of returns across a variety of industries.
There’s a clear path to Partnership here. It won’t happen overnight, but if you look at the current Partners, you’ll see others who’ve made the same journey. There’s no reason you can’t do it too.
