If you’re a Senior Tax Accountant looking for a firm with a solid track record of low turnover and a culture of collaboration, look no further. This is one of those rare firms where people stick around—you likely haven’t seen an advert for them in the past 5+ years because their team stays happy and committed.
The firm is growing, especially after a recent partnership in 2024 that’s generating more client referrals for 2025. This is an exciting time to join a team that’s expanding, but still maintains a relaxed and flexible work environment.
During tax season, you can expect around 55 hours per week, ensuring a manageable workload and avoiding the burnout that so often drives people to leave public accounting. The only exception is the week before the tax deadline, when hours may peak at 60 for a brief stretch—but that’s just the final push before the deadline.
Outside of tax season, the flexibility increases significantly. You’ll have the option to work more hybrid during non-tax season, and the summer and winter months offer even more flexibility. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, you’ll get every other Friday off, making for a perfect 32-hour workweek. Need to take time off for a basketball game or a doctor’s appointment? Just do it. The firm understands that work-life balance is key.
