Tax Senior Manager / Manager

Work Schedule: Flexible and collaborative
What’s the big scroll stopping hook?
A clear path to leadership with ownership style rewards in a firm that is modernising and growing.
Why should someone leave their current job for this one?
Because here you will not just be managing a list of deadlines. You will be shaping the future of a long established practice.
You will work directly with high net worth clients and complex trust and estate matters not cranking through 1040s.
You will get the autonomy to lead client relationships your way while having the support of collaborative partners who value flexibility.
And you will be part of a practice that is investing in its future and ready to grow with the right person on board.
Where could this role lead?
This is succession planning territory. Two of the current partners are approaching retirement and there is a clear opening for someone to step into a true leadership role.
Culture in three words:
Collaborative. Flexible. Loyal.
You will work closely with partners who back your growth and value your input.
Who thrives here?
Someone who is both technically strong and client savvy. You will thrive if you enjoy building relationships with high net worth clients leading small teams and want the autonomy and influence that only a growing independent firm can offer.
Not ready with a resume? Or want a bit more information before applying?
That is fine. Apply the old fashioned way or simply reach out to me on LinkedIn or through the Distinct Recruitment website. I will happily talk you through the role the firm and where it could take you before you make any commitments.
I am Abigail Stephen Recruiter at Distinct. I do not just look at job specs. I look at people and where they will thrive. It is not about filling gaps. It is about finding a fit that lasts.
Outside of work balance for me is Pilates to reset travel to explore and skiing to recharge. Because the truth is you do not slog through hours for the love of a spreadsheet. You do it for the freedom it buys you. Same principle here.
