You’re working for a mid-size firm and on the path to become a Tax Manager, but there’s something that makes you think you won’t be there for the long-term.
Maybe it’s that the current Tax Managers in your current firm are working well over 70 hours a week during busy season as well as weekends and suddenly that extra figure in your pay check doesn’t feel like it’s making much of an impact when you have no time to enjoy it.
Instead, you could be joining this firm where the Managing Partner doesn’t work weekends (even during busy season) and doesn’t expect you to either, as he knows the way to get the best out of people is when they are well-rested and have a good work-life balance.
You’ll be working with a growing firm where they are focused on the quality of the work not the volume, as a Tax Manager you’ll be supporting a variety of clients with a focus on Entrepreneurs, C-Corps and Partnerships and as the firm grows there will be opportunity for you to continue your personal progression path.
