This is a small CPA firm with a strong, established client base and a way of working that feels adult and sensible. The expectations are high, but the environment is relaxed, supportive, and built around trust rather than presenteeism.
The firm operates a genuine hybrid setup. Everyone is fully equipped to work from home and typically does so two to three days per week. When you are in the office, it is because it adds value, not because someone is watching the clock.
Day to day, the culture is casual and practical. Wear what you like most days. Dress up only when a client meeting calls for it. The focus is on the work and the relationships, not appearances.
The firm completes around 800 to 900 tax returns each year. The bulk of the work sits across 1040s, 1120s, and partnership returns, alongside a meaningful amount of trust and estate work. Most of the returns are complex enough to keep things interesting, without tipping into unnecessary chaos.
Clients range from early stage businesses through to established companies with revenues up to $60m. Industries include construction, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, hotels, and professional services such as attorneys and dentists. These are clients who value advice and continuity, not just filings.
This role is about stepping into a leadership position alongside the owner. You will take real responsibility, help guide the team, and play a key part in how the firm operates day to day. They are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, bring structure and confidence, and enjoy being trusted to do the job properly.
